We were up fairly early and headed out up the Kokada track for the last time thank goodness. It is easier going out than coming in because of the steepness of the track. We refueled and ate breakfast at our favorite place in Trieben (they take credit cards). My right hamstring was playing up, I must have strained it putting the bike on the centre stand.
Colin worked out a great scenic route over the mountains to Steyr. It was a beautiful road with very little traffic and plenty of scenery to enjoy. Unfortunately the Austrians don't put any viewing points on the side of their roads where you can pullover, enjoy the view and take the odd picture.
That's a castle (schloss) in the distance in the Austrian alps.
After Steyr we headed to Linz then Ceske Budejovice (Czech Republic)  and on to Prague. That road was hot,  slow and boring in a lot of places. We stopped for lunch in Freistadt just before the Czech border. The restaurant was air-conditioned and the food great. We eventually got to our Airbnb accommodation in Prague around 4.30pm. Morag was walking up the street when we arrived and not too happy. There had been all kinds of confusion about which flat we were in. Olga had been appointed by our host, Anatoly, to check us in and she seemed to think we were in a one bedroom unit on the top floor. Eventually it was all sorted out after numerous phone calls to Anatoly. The Wi-fi didn't work as we had the wrong password. Eventually that was sorted out as well. We parked our bikes in the yard and unloaded our gear. Anatoly then rang and said he had arranged for us to park our bikes about 1.6kms away. We got back on the bikes and Mabel did her bit and got us to an apartment block where Allan met us and directed us to his parking spot underneath the apartments. We took the tram back to our apartment and used Mabel to show us the way home from the tram stop. Unfortunately I forgot to tell her we were on foot so she assumed we were on the bikes and took us along the one way streets. We walked 1 km instead of 400 metres!! My hamstring was hurting after that and Colin and I were both hot and sweaty by the time we reached the flat. There was a washing machine and dryer in the apartment so we got a load of washing done before heading out to a local restaurant Morag had found. We put the washing in the dryer as we went out the door. Olga was in and out a couple of times washing and drying. Our flat must be the laundry for the rest of Anatoly's apartments in the block!!! Anatoly was due to come by with the security keys for the bike parking so we could retrieve them on Thursday morning.
The meal at the restaurant was great.
Alan and Morag perusing the menu at our local restaurant.
After we came back I decided to rest my hamstring and not go out the tomorrow.
